Im w/ you!!!! Really feel NYR will get a bump from last season dissapointment

b/c:

More rest (G and Staal will be better)

Nash will be healthy and ready to show he's still got it.

Bottom 6 will be MUCH improved

Hank looks great!!

Vesey will be a STUD!

RFA's will be more relaxed and ready to show new contracts were well earned

GUys like Gerbe, Grabner, Jooris, etc will help

Buchnevich, well, who knows, but he doesn't need to be savior anymore w/ signings made by Gorton.

Really think that the jam in the bottom six will be an asset come trade deadline

Are the kids alright?
What kind of question is that? What do you think Hayes' great grandfather Pete would say?

I think Vesey will prove to be that sniper

it's a good thing that Nash's contract is over in two more seasons, because once Vesey's initial deal is done, he's going to go right into the big bucks

I know people are afraid to outwardly state how good he is going to be, but, I'm not

From what I read, he was dominant at traverse city.

I sill think we have a trade coming for the defense. Anaheim has the opposite problem we have, they have too many D-men and their bottom 6 is awful.

I don't know, I think we need a top pairing defenseman, but if we don't get that, I don't see the need to add another defenseman for the 2nd or 3rd pairs.

We have a lot of defensemen too.

little bit underwhelming, but showed some flashes

Vesey, Nieves, Stromwall and Kovacs all outperformed him IMO

Nieves is an interesting prospect. Kinda fell off the map because he took so long to develop in the NCAA, but at the end of the day he was a 2nd round pick so he has that upside and potential to his game.

Hopefully for Buch it was due to adjusting to NA ice more than anything else.

That's what I took away from the 2 games I watched.
Depending on who makes the team this year, I could (unfortunately) see one of Kovacs, Boo or Stromwall being included in a trade for a big time D or sniper.

Kreider will never be a sniper. Doesn't have the hands or shot. What he should do, besides using the threat of a breakaway is mold his game after Graves.

So you're saying that Kreider will score 50 goals?
TPC will be thrilled that you finally came around to seeing Kreider's true potential.

I get what you are saying. He needs to play to his strengths and get his head out of his ass.
